WordPress 3.5 Beta
The next WordPress version, 3.5, is scheduled for release on December 5. Since yesterday the first beta is available for testing, ideally through the Beta Tester WordPress plugin. Testing a beta on a live site is not recommended though, a local WordPress installation is the best place for it.
The new default theme “Twenty Twelve” is now also available for self-hosted WordPress sites as a download from the WordPress.org theme directory.

Brad Frost has put together “This Is Responsive”, a new and extensive site with tips, resources and code snippets for responsive web design.

Underscores.me
On Underscores.me you can generate your own personal _s starter theme. Since you can enter your theme name right there, you save yourself the find and replace of the theme name in a text editor.
