SolarOne is a block theme for agency websites, built around the Aino Blocks patterns. Pages are assembled from those patterns and edited in the Site Editor.
The SolarOne Theme Overview

SolarOne is a theme for agencies, studios and freelancers who want to present their work and their team. It is clear and bright, with plenty of white space and large headings, and grows into a complete business website in a few steps.
What sets SolarOne apart is the way you work with it. Instead of finished page templates with options, the theme ships with a collection of patterns that you assemble like building blocks: a hero with a statement and a picture, an introduction to your services, a gallery of projects, a section with the team, testimonials, a contact section. Every page is built from these blocks in the editor.
Built for the Site Editor
The header, the footer and all templates for pages, posts and archives are edited in the Site Editor. Colours and fonts are set under Styles. SolarOne comes with a light and a dark palette, and you can add your own colours and swap the fonts.
SolarOne’s patterns are built on the layout blocks of our Aino Blocks plugin, above all the Grid block and the Advanced Container block. They let you set columns, spacing and backgrounds more precisely than the standard blocks do.
What you need
SolarOne requires the free Aino Blocks plugin. Without it the theme’s patterns will not display completely.
The theme is free and open source. You will find it on WordPress.org and its code on GitHub, where bug reports and suggestions are welcome.
