In the second video of our little “WordPress for Newbies” series, I will explain what widgets and widget areas in WordPress are. Since there are so many different widget options and the widget areas are different in every theme, I think it is quite difficult to understand the concept of widgets at the beginning of learning WordPress. I hope my little video screencast is helpful to get you started.
