Screenfly is another nice online tool for quickly testing the responsive design of a website in different screen resolutions. Once your work is online on a test domain, it helps you spot mistakes in the styles of your CSS3 media queries fast.

Pinterest
On Pinterest you can collect inspiration and gather images on your own digital pinboards. You can then sort your finds on different boards by topic, such as design, typography, fashion, food or travel. In my opinion Pinterest is also an excellent way to collect ideas for a new web design project, and a board full of ideas is easy to share with others online. You can sign up by requesting an invite on the Pinterest website, mine arrived in my inbox only a few hours later.

Simple Media Queries Tester
The online tool “Simple Media Queries Tester” lets you test your website quickly, and above all clearly, in three different screen widths at once. You can set the widths yourself, for example 320 pixels for the iPhone in portrait or 758 pixels for the iPad in portrait. I find it really practical for checking a responsive design at a glance.

WhatFont
With the WhatFont tool, a bookmarklet or the Google Chrome extension, you can find out in seconds which fonts a website uses. If you like a typeface on a page, just click the browser extension, move your cursor over the text, and the name of the font appears in a small box. Click the text once more and you get further details such as font-weight, font-style, font-size and line-height. A practical little helper for web designers and type fans that saves you the longer hunt for fonts with a developer tool.

Designspiration
The website Designspiration by Shelby White is a real treasure trove for creatives. Illustrations, graphics, album covers, drawings and photographs are neatly arranged, and you can sort them by colour, popularity or keyword. The colour search is my favourite. If you just want to let the beautiful images wash over you, use the handy keyboard navigation and click from picture to picture.
