Kiore Moana is a one column blog theme with large thumbnails, generous type and plenty of white space, plus a widgetised info page. It is a classic theme, set up on its own options page.

This is the release post from 30 September 2013, kept as it was written. Prices, coupons and links are of their time; the theme itself is free and open source today.

The Kiore Moana Theme Overview

Today we’re happy to present our newest responsive Premium WordPress Blog Theme Kiore Moana to you. Kiore Moana is a great WordPress theme for personal blogs, travel, hobby or photography blogs with a modern, open design, lots of white space, easily readable fonts on all devices and an extra widget info page as a special theme highlight.

The Kiore Moana Info page template allows you to have the cleanest, minimal blog design and still offer additional information about you and your blog like an about info, links to your social profiles, information about the latest comments, posts and so on.

Blogging With Style And Fun

With the Kiore Moana theme your blog posts can really start to shine and become the true center of attention. With the help of trendy big thumbnail images, support for all WordPress post formats (like quotes, links, galleries, images, videos or status posts) and beautiful styling options for your content like side notes, drop caps, multi columns or images that are pushed a little bit outside the regular content width, you can really make each blog posts very special and interesting to read and look at.     Hello! I have a question about your theme. Can you tell me how to make the font-size from the blogpost smaller? And can I change the text ‘More info’ and ‘Back home’? I would like to translate it to Dutch, but can’t find it.

      @Marieke: You could change the font size with the following CSS in the Custom CSS theme option:

      For the More Info and Back home texts, it’s easiest that you install the “Codestyling Localization” WordPress pluin and add your own Dutch translation to the theme. It’s quite easy with the help of the plugin. Best, Ellen

    Hi. This theme is really so close to what I have in mind but I’d love a way to turn off the post-type icons. I don’t like any “stuff” interfering with my content. The icons are cute at the bottom, but not right at the top of the post (for my style). Is this a simple fix do you think? Like can I figure it out with Firebug?

    I think you have really lovely themes and I’m considering switching to WordPress.org just for the Meola theme. Hmmm. I wish it were available for WordPress.com! Maybe when my subscription is up in June.
