This is the personal journal of Ellen and Manuel.

We started out writing about WordPress themes, back when blogs were everything. Then we watched social media take over and feeds turn into algorithms. And today we see machines learning to write, to draw and to talk, faster and cheaper than us, every single day.

We want to understand what is happening, try it out and talk about it honestly. That’s what we do here, in our newsletter and on Ellen’s YouTube channel: we share what we find interesting, exciting or new. Sometimes it gets personal, and sometimes we change our minds. But every opinion here is our own.

More and more of what we see online is generated, polished and fake. We choose to go the other way: with real people, real opinions, and real mistakes, too.

We love what we do, and we keep going.

If you are reading this: thank you. You are part of it too.
