# Mugistore WordPress Theme for Shops

## The Mugistore Theme Overview

Mugistore is a theme for shops that do not want to look like a department store. We designed it for small businesses with a manageable range: a roastery with twelve coffees, a tea shop, a natural cosmetics label, a small fashion brand. The design is quiet and modern and stays in the background so the product photos set the tone.

The theme is built on WooCommerce and the new WooCommerce blocks. The shop page, product page, cart and checkout are templates in the Site Editor that you edit like any other page. That makes Mugistore one of our first themes where the whole shop works without any theme options.

## Built for the Site Editor

All of Mugistore's templates and template parts are edited in the Site Editor. The header with its cart icon, the footer with payment information, the front page with product groups and a section for promotions, all of it is built from blocks and can be moved, replaced or removed. Colours and fonts are set under Styles, with an instant preview.

Mugistore ships with patterns for the typical parts of a shop: a hero with a product photo, a row of featured products, an introduction to the store, a section for the newsletter sign-up. You insert the patterns on any page and fill them with your own content.

## What you need

Mugistore requires the WooCommerce plugin and our Aino Blocks plugin. Aino Blocks provides a few layout blocks that the theme's patterns are built on. Both plugins are free.

The theme is free and open source. You will find it on WordPress.org and its code on GitHub, where bug reports and suggestions are welcome.
